When Is Bands on the Beach in Pensacola Beach?
The series plays every Tuesday from the first Tuesday in April through the last Tuesday in October. Each season’s lineup leans on regional talent and ranges from rock, country, and Americana to reggae, funk, brass bands, and tribute acts. Admission is free, and the Santa Rosa Island Authority organizes every show.
Parking and How to Get There
Bands on the Beach takes place every year at the Gulfside Pavilion beside the landmark beach ball water tower at Casino Beach, 20 Casino Beach Boulevard, Pensacola Beach, FL 32561. The Casino Beach lot sits closest to the stage and fills first, so arriving well before showtime is wise in high season. Free public parking at Park East and Park West holds out longer, and the Boardwalk lots fill quickly on concert nights.
The shortcut is the free Pensacola Beach Island Trolley. Its East Route runs from Casino Beach straight to Portofino Island Resort, linking Pensacola Beach resorts and condos to Bands on the Beach without circling for a space. The trolley operates daily from late spring through Labor Day, so leave the car at your Pensacola Beach condo and ride in, or pedal over on a rental bike.
