Happy Thanksgiving Turkey Trot in Pensacola Beach, Florida
Come watch over 1,000 participants compete in a 5k race along the most picturesque beach in the world. The Pensacola Beach Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving event in Pensacola Beach, Florida. The 5k proceeds go towards brain cancer research and the Preston Robert Tisch Tumor Center at Duke University. Even if you aren’t the fastest runner, you can still win fabulous prizes for wearing one of the best costumes. Some of the prizes are medals and cups.
When: This is an annual Thanksgiving event in Pensacola Beach, Florida and the next upcoming date is on November 24, 2022. The Kid’s Turkey Dash is at 8 a.m., and the 5k Turkey Trot is at 8:30 a.m.

Wednesday: Watch the dive-in movie: Free Bird at 6 p.m.

Thursday: Kick off Thanksgiving morning with Pensacola Beach’s annual Turkey Trot with a kids dash and a 5k fun run whose proceeds benefit brain cancer research and the Preston Robert Tisch Tumor Center at Duke University. Following the run, sit back, relax and enjoy a plated or to-go Thanksgiving feast from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Coastal Restaurant and Portofino Al Fresco.

Friday: Have breakfast with Santa at 9 a.m. for $24 per person. It includes a buffet breakfast, storytime with Santa, and a craft. Reservations are required due to limited availability. Join in on tie-dye activities from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. There will also be pictures with Santa from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. that cost $20 for sitting on his lap and $15 per 5x7 picture. Then the day of Florida Thanksgiving fun will be wrapped up with a dive-in movie: Polar Express, at 5 p.m.

Saturday: Another opportunity to have breakfast with Santa is at 9 a.m. for $24 per person. It includes a buffet breakfast, storytime with Santa, and a craft. Reservations are required due to limited availability. Then there will be a holiday kids korner at 12 p.m. for $10 per child. Come join us for fun activities, including decorating Santa’s sleigh, glitter tattoos, and crafts. The Thanksgiving fun ends with a Florida beach sleigh ride around Portofino Island Resort.
