The 15th Pensacola Beach Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving Day
The 15th annual Turkey Trot 5K and the festive Kid’s Turkey Dash will take place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2025, beginning at 20 Casino Beach Boardwalk, Pensacola Beach, Florida.

9:00 to 11:00 a.m. – Runner’s Breakfast and Awards Celebration
After the race, participants can enjoy a breakfast feast of bagels, muffins, fruit, mimosas, and beer at the Gulfside Pavilion. The 15th Pensacola Beach Turkey Trot 5K concludes with the race awards ceremony and the always-popular Costume Contest, where creativity is rewarded with medals and commemorative cups.
Why This Race Matters
Each step taken in the Turkey Trot 5K supports a greater cause. Proceeds from the event directly benefit brain cancer research through the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University, one of the nation’s leading neuro-oncology programs.
The event also honors the memory of Pensacola Police Officer and Marine Veteran Stephen Grogan, who courageously battled Glioblastoma Multiforme. His legacy continues to inspire this community-focused tradition and the mission to find a cure for brain cancer.

Packet and T-Shirt Pickup will take place at Laguna’s Beach Bar + Grill, located at 460 Pensacola Beach Blvd, from 12 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, and Wednesday, November 26. Same-day pickup will also be available at the Gulfside Pavilion.
T-shirts are limited to the first 1,500 Turkey Trot 5K participants and the first 100 Turkey Dash runners, so early registration is encouraged.
