Dinner Social at Portofino

Portofino will be hosting monthly dinner socials for Owners, Guests, Long-Term-Renters, Club Members and Employees to attend.

Our first social, held last night, was Amore del Mar, “Love by the Sea”. It featured a romantic Italian dinner while being serenaded by the artists in residence from the Pensacola Opera. It was truly a unique experience.

If you missed out, don’t worry; our next dinner social is on Friday, March 30.  An Evening in Paris, featuring Parisian-themed cuisine and entertainment by Kitt Lough. The cost is $85 per couple/$42.50 per single. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Contact the concierge at 850.916.5355 to make your reservations.

Zumba at the Boardwalk!

Our very own Fitness Instructor Jessica offered a Free Zumba Class yesterday at the shell on the Boardwalk!  The music was pumping, weather was perfect and the venue was amazing.  If you missed out don’t worry, she is offering a Free Boot Camp Class on Monday October 10th at 8am and a Free Yogalates Class on Wednesday October 12th at 8am – same location.  Hope to see you all there!

Wine Dinner at Portofino Island Resort

Guests enjoyed a four-course dinner paired with wines from the region of Beaujolais and the nearby southern region of Burgundy.  All served around our beautiful indoor pool, illuminated with floating candles, while silent French films played in the background.  Our Executive Chef, Rob Theriot, recently traveled to Beaujeu, France and attended the Festival Sarmentelles.  He had the opportunity to speak with the passionate winemakers about their craft and inspirations, bringing back with him new-found knowledge and inspiration to share at his twelfth wine dinner here at Portofino Island.

This was truly a beautiful wine dinner, and a great idea for those of you looking to book a special venue with unique ambiance which your guests will remember and talk about for a lifetime.
